"It's over," he said. He stood close, touching her with only his eyes. "Tell me what you want now."
"Three things," she said. "A cup of real coffee."
"That I knew." He smiled.
"A hot bath."
"You've earned it."
"And you."
"You have me." His arms closed around her. "You always have."
She stared back at him, her emotions finally showing in her eyes. "But it's only now that I can finally do this." Her hand slid up behind his neck, pulling his head down to hers, and she kissed him softly.
"In that case I know just the place."
