Passion flared,
Out of place,
Inconvenient.

Impossible.
Tempting, messy,
Resisted.

Passion grew,
Fed by tenderness.
Held in check.

Comradery,
Trust, Caring.
Friendship grew.

Passion smoldered,
Grew into love.
Lasting joy.
