rolling green pixels of multifandom fanfiction as far as the mouse can scroll
The focus here is split between Stargate SG-1™© and Star Trek: Voyager™©, although I'm a TOS trekkie at heart. Other featured fandoms include Buffy the Vampire Slayer™©, Firefly™©, Animorphs™©, Roswell™©, Marvel Comics, and a variety of other sci-fi based universes.
Fanfiction is pretty important to me. I majored in literature before circumstances forced me into the most non-literary job on Earth, so I depend on this little hobby to give my life meaning. I like to experiment with a wide variety of genres and styles, and I'm happiest when I'm turning a classic cliché on its ear.
Notice: Fiction is not real. None of the events portrayed in any story on this fanfiction website constitute either real life experience or future plans of any kind. Since most of these stories involve spaceships, aliens, super heroes, or vampires, this should be self-evident, but apparently nothing goes without saying in twenty-first century America.
Story Labels
All stories are labeled with pairing codes, even if the relationships are not the main focus. All Voyager fic is certified J/C, P/T, and EMH/7 friendly. All SG-1 fic is certified Sam/Jack friendly, as well as Daniel/Vala friendly in later seasons. Due to multishipping in some fandoms, especially the Buffyverse, please read the pairing label on each fic. To avoid confusion, portmanteaus, as for example Kenlow, and other cutesy fanon 'ship terms like InCrowd and Fruitcake, are avoided in favor of the forward slash convention. Further information here. Summaries include spoiler warnings for related episodes and novels, as well as content warnings where appropriate. Some content warnings may reveal plot details, in which case they are concealed. If you do not wish to read content warnings which may contain spoilers for the fic in question, do not click on the content warning links described as spoilers. I want my site to be safe and enjoyable for everyone, so if you have safety concerns please read my full labeling policy.
This site uses the fiction ratings system. Fic rated K™© is meant to be appropriate for everyone. That listed as rated T™© should be appropriate for teenagers and adults, with little or no adult language, although it may have some adult themes and limited violence which may result in injury, but not graphically described life-threatening injury. Fic rated M™© may contain violence, including violence resulting in graphic, possibly life-threatening, injury; sexual innuendo or non-descriptive sexual content; or adult word choices. Ratings K™© through M™© are the property of fictionratings.com and are used with permission. The ratings applied to specific fics are not verified by fictionratings.com and they are not liable for any mislabeling.
The highest rating on this site is ST-17™© for "steamy stories not to be read by persons seventeen years of age and younger." This rating -- which covers scenes with sensuality about as graphic as one might find in a romance novel -- is my own creation, as other adult-type ratings (such as Adult or MA) are sometimes applied to material of a much more graphic nature then what is found here. To access stories rated ST-17, you must click the rating, rather than the title. This is to prevent readers from inadvertently clicking on content they wish to avoid. Please do not read steamier stories if you are a minor, hold personal convictions against steamy love scenes, or plan to be offended by them.
Printer Friendly Pages
All stories come equipped with a printer friendly stylesheet for your comfort and convenience. Simply use the print button on your browser, and fic will print in a smaller font than the screen version, with paragraph indents instead of extra spacing between paragraphs, and without paper-wasting graphics or navigation links.

With, at last count, one hundred and ninety fics on this page, readers might find themselves seeking a little guidance. On the off chance they're willing to take it from the writer in question, I'll offer my not always objective opinions. Some stories are light comedies or short fluff pieces, written to provide a laugh or a shippy sigh. Others are more serious. Hopefully, the newer fics are better than the older ones of the same type, as I am always striving for improvement. So, what should you read? I'd recommend that fans of Stargate SG-1 start with the action-packed team comedy Badfic!Pete and the Temple of Doom, and the Sam/Jack shippers among them should check out the shippy novel Xanadu, the Bad Guys tag Taxi Service, or the action-adventure Jaunt to Paradise. Daniel and Vala take center stage in Return to Xanadu and No Place Like Home. Star Trek fans might enjoy the novel length science fiction piece Eclipsed, the angsty Janeway-centric drama Institutionalized, or the action-adventure fics Thirty Six Hours and One and All. Janeway and Paris share an adventure gone wrong in The Hard Choices, while Mortimer Harren learns a few life lessons in The Quiet Type. In Three Anniversaries, Samantha Wildman struggles with some difficult choices, while four ensigns adjust to life in the Delta Quadrant in the slash novel Questions. Those seeking Buffyverse fic can start with Blindsided, which just happens to be my very favorite short piece, or the longer Kennedy-centric action-drama Kite String. Fans of Marvel Comics are encouraged to give When the Gloves Come Off a try, Browncoats should check out The Verse That Was, and my best Roswell fic is the action-packed third season story Inside Job. NOTE: Due to human error, some stories are currently missing from this index, as it was restored from an incomplete backup. I am aware of the problem and am working to correct it. |
