| Stargate SG-1 | Ashley McConnell | This is the novelization of the pilot episode. A bit overexplained in a couple of spots (such as the bit with the kleenex box) but overall enjoyable. I'm assuming it was written from the shooting script, which keeps you guessing as to what the author has added, and what was in the script that was cut from the show. So there's that geeky bit of fun to make up for the fact that you know what's going to happen. |

| Stargate SG-1 The Price You Pay | Ashley McConnell | This is a gripping and enjoyable read, with a plot very similiar to a number of episodes. |
| Stargate SG-1 First Amendment | Ashley McConnell | A pesky reporter almost exposes the SGC. Readable if you can ignore the overabundance of cumbersome metaphors, but inferior to other novels in the series by the same author. Two points for referencing the Heinlein novel Tunnel in the Sky. |
| Stargate SG-1 The Morpheus Factor | Ashley McConnell | Here's the best of the series thus far. Excellent. |
